DK Valet Workforce Pilot
Pilot privacy notice

This notice describes information handled by the limited DK Valet workforce-tracking pilot. It does not replace a final, counsel-approved production privacy policy.
Information used by the pilot
The pilot may process account and role information, property assignments, employee availability, time-off and coverage requests, authorized schedules and shifts, supervisor handoff notes, device and app diagnostics, clock and tracking events, checkpoints, tracking-health events, notification receipts, and audit records. During a server-authorized active tracking session, location events can include coordinates, timestamps, reported accuracy, available motion fields, permission state, foreground or background state, battery, network, device, operating-system, app-version, and synchronization metadata.
Location boundary
Routine location collection is not authorized outside an active tracking session for an assigned shift. If the server does not authorize the shift or tracking transition, collection stays off. Unknown, stale, inaccurate, offline, or degraded readings remain visible as such. Ordinary phone location is not proof of an exact indoor unit or floor.
Why information is used
Information is used to operate the pilot, evaluate device and location quality, support authorized property operations, diagnose synchronization and permission failures, secure property-scoped access, and create auditable pilot results. The pilot does not include advertising or data-broker features.
Google Maps features
When an authorized supervisor uses address search or property-map setup, search text, selected place identifiers, map coordinates, and ordinary request metadata may be sent to Google Maps Platform to return address suggestions, place details, or map imagery. Google handles that information under the Google Privacy Policy. The pilot stores selected property data needed for operations; it does not create a separate cache of Google address suggestions.
Service providers and access
Supabase supports authentication and the property-scoped data environment, Vercel hosts the admin pilot, and Google Maps Platform supplies the optional mapping services. Access is limited by authenticated roles, explicit property assignments, and server-enforced row-level security. Vendor credentials are kept on the server and are not shipped in the web or mobile client.
Retention, security, and choices
Retention is configurable and must follow an approved, effective-dated DK Valet policy and applicable legal requirements; this pilot notice does not invent a retention period. Reasonable safeguards reduce risk, but no system is perfectly secure. Authorized users can contact DK Valet Operations about account, access, correction, or privacy questions. Device permission controls remain available, although disabling a permission may prevent an authorized tracking session from operating.
